Hostess Monday with Katie Tate

Happy Monday Everyone!!
It's Katie here to share a new card with you for my Hostess Monday spot. Of the team members here at Digital Delights I am among the longest standing, I have been a member for over 3 years! I love Wendy's cute images, they appeal to the child in me and they always make me smile.
The image I used for this card is no exception, how adorable is little Painting Pierre with his sweet 'stache?

Card Recipe:
Medium - Copic Markers
Paper - En Francias by Prima
Punch - McGill

To keep with the French feel of Pierre I used a perfect set of papers and took the Fleur De Lis from the design to make some accent panels.
I hope you liked him and be sure to keep coming back for more fabulous inspiration from the whole team.

Chrissy - Designer
Hi! My name is Chrissy and I live in beautiful Napier New Zealand..
I live on my own with my dog ‘Harry’ and work full time [plus] as a caregiver..
I have three grown children and four wonderful Grand children..2 of each.
My crafting is my relaxing pleasure at night time and sometimes[ when I’m allowed ] ..on the weekend.. as I do a lot of boy sitting.. [not allowed to call them ‘babies’ anymore..
My style is where ever it takes me at the time..I don’t usually prepare for what happens when I start a project it just.. happens..but I do love doing little animated scenes and just started shabby chic/vintage.
I use Faber Castell pencils for my colouring and add copics from time to time..

Sarah - Designer
A big Hello from Iowa! I'm so excited to be back creating for Digital Delights by Louby Loo! I have been crafting for a long time and love that outlet. I am an upholster during the day and crafter at night so I create all day long. I consider my style junkie. The more stuff I can get on a card the happier I am with the card.

Wendy- Designer
Hi my name is Wendy I live in the UK with my wonderful hubby and two very special children, who I love to bits and mean the world to mean and not forgetting our new member of the family our adorable Labrador puppy Bailey.
I have been crafting for many years now, I started card making Christmas 2006, and now well and truly addicted. I especially love to stamp and colour with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers and got a bit of a thing about buttons and flowers and find it hard not to add them to all my creations LOL...

Lorraine- Designer
Hi, I have been crafting for about 10 years after accepting early retirement due to ill health.  Money was (and is) tight and the cost of buying cards was and still is very expensive so after seeing some craft programmes on TV I thought I would give it ago and have never looked back.  I started off with decoupage but found a long lasting love of both rubber and digi stamps, I always loved colouring even when at school so it seemed I had found my little niche in the craft world. I never thought that I would ever become a Design Team member but I have been so honored and proud to have been able to design for many wonderful teams that offer amazing rubber/digi stamps.  Unfortunately I went through a bad spell in 2012/13 and stepped down from  all of the design teams but 2014 brought much more contentment in my life which was transferred to my work with craft, I have once again been blessed with being able to design for and with some awesome people.

Jane - Designer
Hi everyone, my name is Jane and I live in the beautiful county of Oxfordshire in the UK.  I have been crafting for as long as I can remember and it is my haven and my therapy!  I work full-time as a Civil Servant at a military establishment not very creative I know but it allows me to fund my crafty habit so I won’t moan!!  I started my blog in June 2013 so that’s a whole year I’ve been alive in blogland!! It really has been a wonderful experience and has opened my heart and mind to a whole new world of creativity I never knew existed!  The kindness and generosity of crafters has blown me away. You are all such a fabulous inspirational bunch!

Robin - Designer
My greatest achievement is being a proud mom of three amazing children and married to a fabulous man, my husband  Scott for 30 years.  Currently living in a small town in Minnesota, I enjoy papercrafting, camping and walking. I love to create all kinds of projects including cards, scrapbook pages, and home décor items.  My papercrafting journey began in August 2010 and I have loved every minute of it. I love to see all the different ways I can create with paper, dies, punches and ink.

Julie - Designer
I have a passion for all things stamping and digital, so being a part of it is a true joy for me!  Let me tell you a little bit about myself:
My name is Julie Odil, and I’ve always been creative.  I make my living as the activity director/music therapist at the local nursing home.  I play many instruments – piano/organ/guitar/bassoon/violin to name a few.  I have 2 Golden Retrievers – one comes to work with me every day.  When I’m not walking dogs, biking, kayaking, or riding on the Harley with my husband, I like to be in my craft room getting inky.  I’m happiest when I’m creating.  Digital Delights from Louby Loo has some of the cutest images out there!  I look forward to having an opportunity to design with them and share my creativity with you in the coming months.

Karen - Designer
(Joining us in August)
First I have to say this – Hello, my name is Karen Christensen (aka: busybusyhoneybee and/or Karen C) and I am a stampaholic!  Okay, now you say “hello Karen”!  I have been a stampaholic for many years now.  If I am not creating cards I’m looking at things wondering what I could do with it on a card.   The reason I'm called busybusyhoneybee is because I can't sit still.  I have to keep busy!  I work full-time for one of the local Boise, Idaho hospitals.  I'm an Ordained Minister/Wedding Officiant (ordained online) and perform weddings most weekends and some week nights throughout the year.  I act in plays here and there as well.  During the Christmas season I am Mrs. C in the red velvet and white fur dress.  I design for Rick St. Dennis, Create With TLC, Incy Wincy and Whoopsi Daisy.  I'm also a mom of three, ages 24, 20 and almost 15 and I've spent over 22 years with my best friend/husband.  Now I’m proud to say I get to play with you here!  Yay!!

Nick - Designer
My name is Helene Siermans. I am 37 years old. I live in a little village called Askeby in Sweden with my husband and my two children. They are the main reason I scrap. I love to scrap the fun and everyday moments as my children grow and change. I also love to scrap about travel, nature, animals and everyday things (like dishwashers, yes they are the best!). I do a lot of different type of paper crafting as cards, mini albums and alter items. I got a really bad paper fetish and can´t help to buy some as soon as I see something that I like. I also got a pretty bad coffee addiction, lol. Love to sit by the computer looking through my blog list with a coffee beside me…
I have been paper crafting for about 7 years but has always enjoyed to create since I was a child. Tried a lot of different things like cross stitches, knitting, painting, doll making, sewing but paper crafting is something that got me real hooked!!! Now I can´t vision a life without it. I have made some new great friends through different design teams and challenge blogs. I am now looking forward to make some new friends here at Digital Delight.
At the moment I teach a year 2 in the Swedish Primary school. I love it!  I also like to be outside in my garden, run in the forest and read books.
I´m so happy and proud to be in this fantastic team. Thanks for having me!

Kez - Designer
My name is Kerry Louise.  But mostly I'll answer to Kerry or Kez :)
I was born in England but have lived most of my life in Northern Ireland.
I'm a full time carer, for my grandmother, so that doesn't leave me as much free time as I'd like, but when I do get some, I can usually be found either crafting (mostly card making) reading, writing or procrastinating on pinterest!
I also love almost all things geeky, especially in the sci-fi/fantasy genre.  Have a fairly... eclectic taste in music, which I almost always have playing in the background!  And am obsessed with fairies, tigers and coffee – especially coffee!
See Kez on her blog Creative work is play

Thrilled to have such a fabulous and talented design team and you can see all their new work for us on Thursday with a NEW RELEASE!!
